Operations Manual

How a rock becomes someone's.

Our process is intentionally simple. Five steps, one rock at a time.

  1. 01

We find a rock on a beach.

Our field team scans coastline at low tide. We log GPS coordinates, weather, and surrounding sand composition. Then we listen.

  2. 02

We name it. We write its story.

Every rescued rock receives a case number, a name, and a documented origin. We do not speculate. We do not embellish. We report what the rock has been through.

  3. 03

    The rock goes to auction.

Bidding is open to anyone with an email address. The highest bidder at the close of the auction adopts the rock.

  4. 04

The winner receives the rock by mail.

Securely packaged and shipped with a signed adoption certificate. Insurance is included. Tracking is provided.

  5. 05

    75% funds documented beach cleanups.

The remaining 25% covers field operations, shipping, and the production of certificates. Every cleanup is published in our public ledger.
